Zero carbon emissions and zero clinker cement.
VerdMax is a GGBFS-based hydraulic cement, with no carbon emissions and no clinker.
GGBFS with proprietary additives can produce a workable, fluid concrete that is easy to place and finish, with working times of 2 to 3 hours (at 23C) and final set times of 6 to 8 hours.
Like Portland cement concrete, it can be designed for the workability and compressive strength needed.
It is suitable for normal construction and precast applications, and due to its chemical composition, concrete made with SteelMent is resistant to sulfate and chloride attack. This makes it exceptionally suitable for use in high sulfate soil, in construction and marine structures such as ports and retaining walls.
Typical applications:
Green Buildings
Precast Elements
Marine Construction Structures/Ports
Retaining Walls
High Sulfate Soil
